Landfill does NOT accept:
- Hazardous waste
- Car bodies, trailers or other vehicles requiring licenses
- Burning trash, hot barrels or ashes
- Fuel, oils, anti-freeze or contaminate soil
- Household hazardous waste
- Paints, thinners or solvents
- Refrigerators or compressors containing Freon
Fees:
| Properly secured loads: | There is no charge to Socorro residents for covered yard waste who have properly secured their load for hauling. |
| Unsecured yard waste loads: | $3.00 |
| Commercial yard waste haulers: | $30.00 per ton if properly secured. An additional $10.00 fee is charged for unsecured loads. |
| Construction waste haulers: | $35.00 per ton if properly secured. An additional $10.00 fee is charged for unsecured loads. |
