Description:
The Socorro Animal Shelter is a well-maintained facility that gives care to unwanted, stray and lost cats and dogs. We strive to find good homes for them and to reunite those that are lost with their owners. Adoption deposits range from $60.00 to $100.00.

The shelter is funded by the City of Socorro. It is run by Shelter Manager Juanita Gordon and Animal Control Officer Frank Marquez, along with a team of volunteers.
