Description:
The following Employee Benefits are coordinated through the City’s Human Resources Office.

The Human Resources Office also handles all aspects of recruiting and oversees the hiring of new employees. Human Resources posts all vacant positions, receives applications and resumes, and forwards them to the hiring department in which the vacant position exists. The hiring department then completes their selection process.

The Summer Youth Program is also coordinated through the City’s Human Resources Office. The City offers two 4-week work sessions for Socorro teens 16-19 years old.

Applications for the Summer Youth Program can be picked up and returned to the New Mexico Department of Labor Office located at 109 Faulkner beginning late April.
