Locals and proud balloon owners from the Socorro Balloon Rally come out in all their colors and lights to the biggest parade of the year, with a balloon glow afterward. The parade route begins at Sedillo Park, continues south on California and ends at the Plaza. Awards will be presented following the Parade at the Balloon Glow at the NM Tech Golf Course Pavilion.

Saturday November 24th
6:30 a.m.-pilot briefing Tripp’s Field
7:00 a.m- Balloon inflation begins
Powered paragliders launch
5:30 p.m.- lineup for parade

Sunday November 25th
6:30 a.m- pilot briefing
7:00 a.m –inflation begins
Powered paragliders launch

Directions to the field
From the North take I-25 South to exit 150 at the light at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right(almost a u-turn, you will be heading North)right past the Ford dealership, turn left onto Newberry street. Head West two blocks and you will run into Tripp’s Family Launch Field at the corner of Newberry and El Camino Real.
From the South take I-25 to exit 147 and go north on California street to Bullock(Kentucky Fried Chicken on the corner) Turn left
(west) 3 blocks to El Camino Real. Turn right(North) and the field will be on your left about ½ mile down.
To get to the golf course, continue West on Bullock onto the college campus and turn right at Macy Center.
