Sedillo Park
City of Socorro Parks and Recreation provide leisure activities for the entire family. Sedillo Park offers athletic fields, tennis and basketball courts, horseshoe pits, playgrounds, an Olympic-size swimming pool, and outdoor grills. From California St., turn west onto Francisco de Avondo St., it will be to your left.

City Swimming Pool
The City swimming pool facility contains an Olympic-size pool and a children’s pool. The pool is open from Memorial Day (late May) to mid-August and hours are: Mon-Fri 1:00 pm -
5:00 pm, Sat-Sun 1 pm- 6pm. Fees Kids 1-14 yrs. $1.00 14
and over $2.00. From California St. turn west onto Bullock Ave., turn right at El Camino Real and it will be immediately to your right. For more information, call (575) 835-3091.
Clarke Field
Clarke Field is the newest addition to the city’s park offerings, with a jogging track, outdoor grills, covered picnic tables, and a skate park. The picnic area may be reserved for private parties by contacting City Hall, 835-0240. Clark Field is located just east of Spring Street and California Street.
NM Tech Parks and Recreation
The NM Tech sports an extensive, beautifully landscaped, and varying park. This park contains a golf course, duck pond, playground, and an athletic field. NM Tech contains an Olympic-size swimming pool, an outdoor tennis court, and a fully-equipped gym, which has two indoor basketball courts, three enclosed racquetball rooms, and table tennis. A game room, sporting five billiard tables and one carom table, is also included in Tech’s recreational activities. From California St., turn west onto Bullock Ave. then turn left on Leroy Avenue.

The Socorro Tennis Association is open to anyone wishing to join in some tennis fun. Playing levels of club members range from 2.5 - 3.5 and includes players ranging in age from teenager to seniors in their 70's.
